An update from the band.
2007 has been a very busy year so far for the band, we started off the year in a cold Wyoming with gigs in Pinedale and Rock Springs playing to audiences from Kindergarten to Senior Centers, workshops and theatre shows. We managed to make a side trip to Jackson Hole to see the elk and antelope and a great sunset over the Teton’s. This trip was not quite so memorable for David as he developed altitude sickness towards the end of the week but still managed to struggle through with the aid of oxygen tanks!

St. Patrick’s Day month found us in a very rainy Seattle for the St. Pat Day’s dash and then down in Arroyo Grande to play with Liz Carrol and John Doyle in a great show. We rounded off the month with our reunion concert at the Kuumbwa – look out for the dvd later this year.
In May we played one of our favourite places, The Red Barn, down in Los Osos then we zipped down south to play at the Fiddle and Banjo Festival in Topanga. Pictured here are John and Stu teaching a workshop on the crossover of Celtic music to Bluegrass.
The following weekend we were back up in Washington State at Port Angeles for our first visit to the Juan de Fuca Festival, a great place and wonderful crowds. It was great to meet and catch up with our old friends the Misty River girls who we first met in Shanghai, we do hope we can play a show together some time soon. Thanks to all for making us so welcome.
June 8th we were at the Utah Scottish Highland Games, our first visit to Utah, we shared the stage with two great guys from Arizona, Oceans Apart. Pictured here is a very inventive way to redesign a Mollys Revenge teeshirt by Courtney. It involved the use of scissors! We are hoping she will send us in the “how to” of her unique design.

We made a second trip down to the San Diego Scottish Highland Games, thank you to all our new fans down there, look forward to seeing you in October.
For all our Pacific Northwest fans look for us up there in August.
