Arrived home safely on Tuesday evening after the usual 10 hours sitting on a plane. Stu is still in Glasgow though, taking a few extra days vacation with his wife Joyce. The only disappointment is that we found out that the live feed of our performance didn't happen due to technical problems at the radio station, and the same problems meant that the radio station didn't record it either.

September was a very busy month with festivals. The band had a wonderful time at the Sebastopol Celtic Festival with old friends from Old Blind Dogs. It started to rain just before the guys started their set, however, this just made for a more intimate and packed tent. The boys are busy putting new material together for their new cd, recording in November and hopefully on sale in January 08. First night of the tour was great. Played two sets at the Black Rose Pub in Santa Rosa, after battling wicked traffic all afternoon from SLO up through the Golden Gate. Joyce fed me cateloupe cubes skewered on her knitting needle as I cursed the cars on 101. Just in from Bozeman Montana, where the steaks are big and the sky is bigger, and we're off to Oregon this Friday for two weeks on the road. Stay tuned for our tales from the road! Whew--we're back! As John said hoarsely this morning, "It's good to breathe the coastal air." In Vegas we played two days at their Highland Games and one evening set and the wild and crazy, mardi-Gras-esqe "Fremont Street Experience."
